The simple process
How DevScout works.
We find companies with engineering roles, follow their open positions, and keep the feed current as their listings change.
We find companies to follow
We start with selected companies and look for more through public job lists. Before adding one, we confirm that an engineering role is still open on its own careers page.
We watch for changes
We check the companies we follow for new engineering roles. When a job appears, we add it with a link to the company’s original posting. When the company removes it, we take it out of the active feed after a successful check.
We are clear about dates
If a company shares a posting date, we show it as "Published". Otherwise, "First seen" means when DevScout found the job — not when it was posted. We never change dates to make a role look newer.
Guest preview vs. free account
Browsing as a guest
Browse the same five newest eligible roles from the companies we follow. Search and filters narrow those five; they do not reveal additional locked listings.
Registered account
Create a free account to see every matching role, the companies we follow, and in-app alerts. No payment or subscription is required.
In-app alerts
Registered users can opt into in-app alerts for newly seen roles matching their saved technology focus. The app checks for alerts while it is open in your browser; we do not send email alerts.
Search & filters
Search by title, company, or location, and filter by technology, remote status, seniority, and more. Registered users can search all available roles and save alert preferences in Settings.
